Journey to the West

This page collects my posts about what to do and what to eat when I am globetrotting. For the places that I have been to in the United States, this page lists them from the east cost (i.e., New York), and then west bound all the way to Hawaii. My trips to China are not included here.

Trip Preparation: For each overseas trip, I have a special check-up list prior to departure. I do not check my luggage unless I absolutely have to — for example, trips to Hawaii (which we have to stock up Kona coffees and bring our snorkeling gears, and which I have a separate pack list for Hawaii). Therefore, packing can be a big headache. I have a special list for stuff that are essential and have to be in my 19″ carry-on luggage all the time.
